All Mahaffey Super Series Series and MegaStructure clearspan structures are evaluated in accordance with applicable U.S. building codes. The specifications outlined in the American National Standards Institute / American Society of Civil Engineers (ANSI/ASCE) 7-02: "Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures" are followed in determining the integrity of each structure. Computer-aided structural frame analyses, using STAADPro, are used in the engineering process. Different load combinations are considered to find the critical aspects of each design. Member and detail checks complete the engineering / design process. |
