All Mahaffey Super Series and Mega Series clear span structures are evaluated in accordance with applicable U.S. building codes. The specifications outlined in the American National Standards Institute / American Society of Civil Engineers (ANSI/ASCE) 7-02: "Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures" are followed in determining the integrity of each structure. Computer-aided structural frame analyses, using STAADPro, are used in the engineering process.

Mahaffey structures are manufactured and installed in accordance with the following building code standards in the U.S.:

  • International Building Code (IBC 2000)
  • International Conference of Building Officials: Uniform Building Code (ICBO-UBC)
  • Building Officials and Code Administrators (BOCA)
  • Southern Building Code Congress International: Standard Building Code (SBCCI-SBC)
  • South Florida Building Code (SFBC)
