Industrial Warehousing
and Temporary Warehouse Space
Mahaffey Fabric Structures offer the ideal solution for
additional storage space, whether for industrial warehousing
or a temporary warehouse for an emergency situation, or
as an extension of your business' growth. Our temporary
warehouse structures can be erected on almost any surface
- asphalt, concrete, or soil-without the need of a permanent
foundation. They are erected and dismantled quickly and
can be configured in any size. Guardian steel walls and
security doors can be installed for added security, as well
as rolling
overhead doors for convenience.
Mahaffey offers temporary warehouse spaces and structures
with 10' and 13' eave heights. Our semi-permanent warehouse
structures have 10', 15', and 20' side heights with superior
wind and snow load capability. All of these portable industrial
structures are offered with translucent or blackout (opaque)
fabric membrane roofs. The translucent tops provide sufficient
interior daylight without the need for interior light fixtures.
The blackout roof panels are typically colored white on both
sides, but have an opaque membrane that screens out all light
and keeps the interior cooler in the hot sun.
Seasonal businesses use portable warehouses instead
of sub-renting space in off-site buildings. If temporary space
is secured elsewhere, there are hidden overhead costs as employees
and equipment move between the two facilities. By maintaining
operations on one site using a temporary warehouse, these
hidden costs are eliminated and your supervisory staff can
better manage operations. Semi-permanent structures allow
forward-thinking companies to add space for large
projects without committing to potentially expensive long-term
alternatives.
Whether your need is temporary or semi-permanent,
Mahaffey's temporary warehouses can be made larger or smaller
to adapt to your evolving needs. This allows a basic structure
to retain its value, as it isn't rendered obsolete if it is
too small. The length can be changed by easily adding sections
known as "bays." This work can be done without moving existing
racks or shelving that is already in place. Most of our structures
are modular in width, as well. Widening a structure is most
often done when it is being moved or relocated, as it is a
more involved operation.
