Mahaffey Fabric Structures offers a line of temporary storage enclosures designed specifically for pollution containment and environmental remediation. Smaller structures can serve as a command center for relief operations while larger structures can enclose a hazardous material spill, purifying dangerous gases using negative pressure filtration equipment. In addition, the temporary shelters serve as environmental enclosures and provide protection from inclement weather and can maintain constant interior temperature and humidity. Our portable structure design uses vertical sides that allow 100% interior space utilization and wall heights up to 20' - allowing large, heavy equipment to easily enter the structure. Mahaffey temporary storage shelters are available in widths as small as 33' and as large as 164', with modular sections allowing unlimited lengths. Mahaffey also offers the MegaStructure Series for lengthy projects that require snow-loads and wind loads up to 130 mph.

On a recent coal-tar remediation project, one company took advantage of the portability of Mahaffey's temporary storage shelters and had our crews relocate the structure to several different areas on site to complete the project faster. This allowed the company to rent a smaller structure than what typically would be required to complete the project.
