Tactical Operations
Center (TOC) and ARR Facilities
Mahaffey can provide temporary facilities suitable
for AAR (After Action Review) that
are as small as 20'x 40' (suitable for 60 people) or as large
as 66'x150' (800 people). They are often equipped with HVAC
for comfort, opaque white fabric to easily show audio/visual
presentations and playbacks, classroom tables and chairs.
There is ample room for three-dimensional models reenacting
recent maneuvers.
Temporary fabric structures for use as a Tactical Operations Center (TOC) are usually outfitted with
air conditioning / heat, elevated floors, lighting, and additional power for laptop computers and other
specialized equipment. In some situations several 2,000 - 3,000 sf TOCs are combined into one large
unit with partition walls.
Finally, many training missions require
covered shelter for vehicle maintenance facilities.
Mahaffey's temporary warehouses, equipped with extra high
sides and 16' wide doors, allow even the largest military
vehicles to enter & exit with ease. On unimproved surfaces
(muddy fields), Mahaffey uses Bravo-Zulu flooring. These plastic
composite panels have been used and abused by the heaviest
off-road machinery, and serve as the ideal floor for vehicle
maintenance shelters. Incidentally, Bravo-Zulu flooring comes
in 4' x 4' panels that have also been assembled for use as
outdoor staging areas, walkways and roadways, and even aircraft
landing pads. |
